
Overview
Enovise Group is building technology and software capabilities for environments where reliability, security, and operational performance matter. As a Software Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of software platforms and tools supporting cyber operations, security research, automation, and other mission-critical capabilities. You will work alongside security practitioners, engineers, researchers, and product teams to turn complex operational requirements into reliable and maintainable software. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving difficult technical problems, learning quickly, and building software that has a practical operational purpose.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain secure and reliable software applications and services.
- Translate technical and operational requirements into scalable software solutions.
- Build APIs, backend services, automation tools, and supporting infrastructure.
- Develop clean, maintainable, well-tested code following established engineering practices.
- Work with databases, cloud services, APIs, and distributed systems where appropriate.
- Integrate software with security platforms, internal tools, and operational workflows.
- Troubleshoot application, performance, integration, and reliability issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture and engineering standards.
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests to maintain software quality.
- Collaborate closely with cybersecurity researchers, engineers, analysts, and other technical teams.
- Document software architecture, implementation decisions, APIs, and operational procedures.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and development practices that can improve Enovise software capabilities.
- Follow secure software-development practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience developing software through professional, academic, personal, or open-source projects.
- Strong programming ability in at least two modern language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Nodejs, React
- Good understanding of software-development fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, APIs, databases, testing, and version control.
- Experience with Git and modern software-development workflows.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and service-oriented or distributed application architectures.
- Ability to write readable, maintainable, and secure code.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion when working with sensitive technical or client information.
Nice to Have
- Experience developing cybersecurity, intelligence, automation, or infrastructure software.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, networking, authentication, cryptography, or security tooling.
- Experience building developer tools, APIs, dashboards, or internal platforms.
- Contributions to open-source projects, technical research, GitHub projects, or software products.
